The world’s richest man has been embroiled in an ongoing war of words with the Prime Minister.
US tech billionaire Elon Musk
Elon Musk has privately discussed how Sir Keir Starmer could be ousted as Prime Minister before the next general election, according to reports.
The US tech billionaire is said to have held talks with allies about the prospect of removing Sir Keir from No 10.
It follows his barrage of attacks on the Labour Government on his social media platform X.
A source told the Financial Times: “His view is that western civilisation itself is threatened.”
Mr Musk, who will have a major role in Donald Trump’s administration, has become increasingly vocal on British politics in recent months.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer
The Tesla boss has made hundreds of posts on X about UK grooming gangs amid mounting calls for a new national inquiry.
In response to Labour’s opposition to calls for a probe, Mr Musk called Sir Keir “Starmtrooper” and accused him of trying to cover up “terrible things”.
He later said the rejection of a Tory bid for another inquiry in the Commons was “unbelievable.”
He has also used X to call for Sir Keir to be replaced as Labour leader or for a new election in Britain.
Mr Musk backed Reform UK and met leader Nigel Farage and treasurer Nick Candy at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida in December.
But the X owner later turned on Mr Farage over his refusal to support far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
